Looking back at the “XR en Mouvement” conference!
Last week, DIGISPORT took part in the “XR en Mouvement” conference, organized by the University of Limoges, Rennes 2 University, and Aix-Marseille University, to discuss advances in extended reality (XR) and its applications in the fields of sport and health.
This was an opportunity for DIGISPORT PhD students — Clélia Boulati, Sony Saint-Auret, Florian Matéos, Valentin Ramel, and Jos Deforges — to present their work through oral presentations and poster sessions. A big congratulations to Florian Matéos, who was awarded the 1st Prize for Best Young Researcher Poster.
Richard Kulpa, head of the DIGISPORT Graduate School (EUR), took the opportunity to present his work on the REVEA project (virtual reality boxing). His presentation was complemented by a public demonstration of the project.
Finally, numerous fruitful and promising discussions took place with industry professionals and researchers, paving the way for new collaborations for DIGISPORT.
A heartfelt thank you to Anaick Perrochon and her entire team for organizing this outstanding scientific event!
